Literature Text

he is a human;
she, a ghostly mirror
something sparked in them

people once said that
humans and daemons were not
to have relations

but they did, despite
not knowing it, even though
they'd each fallen hard

he was entranced by
her bubbliness, her naivety;
and she, his cold charm

people scorned them,
for such relations, a kind
the Guild approved not

yet their blossoming
feelings prevailed, bringing them
days of bittersweet

This is by far my favorite stanza in this but I really enjoy it. I think your words
flow very well and that the haiku use in this way is very nice. At first I wasn't sure if
I would enjoy the fact that you sort of "completed sentences" in each haiku however
I find it worked out well in the end and was quite an enjoyable read. Nicely done. :heart:
